The occasional blog of a journeyman photographer

Last Saturday morning I had another early start and took a trip to Ashridge to get some autumn colour shots. Unfortunately some low cloud denied me the early light shots that I was hoping for, so I had to settle for detail shots for the first couple of hours. The sun did eventually break through to give some nice light, but by then I was getting ready to leave as I have other things to do.

isn't from Woburn or even from this year. I took it a couple of years ago at Bradgate Park. It was the best shot I managed that day and since I didn't have a blog then, I am showing it now.
I am playing catch-up on some unprocessed images. These were taken on a Scrambling trip to Snowdonia, that saw some very mixed weather. There was rain when we were on the hills and sun as soon as we had finished. The only images I managed to get were of a waterfall a short walk from Ogwen Cottage, concentrating on details of the water on rock.
