As was the case for the rest of the country, the weather was superb. Too good in fact, since a flat blue sky doesn't make for the most interesting of pictures. However, it did work as a counterpoint to the white of the May blossom.

Blue Skies in the Lakes
Just two pictures from what turned out to be a rather expensive trip up to the Lake District - what with the new clutch for my car and all.
As was the case for the rest of the country, the weather was superb. Too good in fact, since a flat blue sky doesn't make for the most interesting of pictures. However, it did work as a counterpoint to the white of the May blossom.
