A Stroll Along The South Bank

Sorry, yet more street candids.  Last weekend I visited London again and took a leisurely stroll along the South Bank to soak up the Olympic atmosphere, and generally waste a day.

I didn't encounter many foreign fans.  I guess that, unlike me, they must all have tickets.  Fortunately, there always seems to be a group of orange-clad Dutch fans when you need them.

Inside the South Bank Centre is a maze made of books, an art installation for the London 2012 Festival.  It was tricky to photograph with very mixed lighting conditions.  The first shot gives an idea of the general scene.  The second was probably my most successful attempt.  I particular liked the little girl.  Her stripy shirt and glasses made me think of 'Where's Wally'.  I have a similar shot of her by herself, but sadly it's not sharp.
