I visited Greenwich over the weekend (it seems I wasn't the only one to have that idea). I had not been there before, so had a lot to explore. It was another beautiful sunny day (how many does that make this year?) which, as always, means challenging harsh lighting. As the sun lowered and softened in the evening, and I hung around the Old Royal Naval College (having already been thrown out of the Royal Observatory and the Maritime museum) for some shots of the lovely historic buildings in more flattering light. There was a Black Tie event on in the Painted Hall, that made a good opportunity for some candids, and even a marching band, for a bit of extra colour.
