Heather and Sunflowers

My friend Vic came to visit for our annual beer festival trip last weekend.  Once we had recovered from the ale, we took a day-trip to the Suffolk cost.  Our first destination was the heathland that forms part of Tunstall Forest  to get some pictures of the flowering heather.  Sadly the purple of the heather quite wasn't as vivid as I had hoped.  We still managed to take a few landscapes and detail shots before moving on.

 As a bonus, just outside Tunstall we also found a field of sunflowers.
