Fox Covert and Therfied Heath
The weather has not been that kind this autumn. When not actively chucking it down, the skies have remained leaden, with little light. But last Saturday offered some hope. The forecast for places east of St Neots was for early mist, brightening later. I knew from looking at Ann's blog (from where I steal most of my ideas) that the beech trees in Fox Covert, next to Therfield Heath, were in full colour. So wood and heath seemed the best option for the conditions. The mist wasn't quite as good as I'd hoped, giving mainly flat conditions at first, and it took quire a while for the sun to break through. But eventually it did and gave some nice light.
